Who We Are
Community Futures Lambton, formerly the Sarnia-Lambton Business Development Corporation, is a non-profit entity guided by a volunteer Board of Directors and a staff team of experienced business professionals.
Supporting local since 1988
Funded by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), we have provided funding and complimentary business coaching services to local businesses in Lambton County since 1988.
We are part of a network of over 260 Community Futures organizations across Canada. Each office is situated in a community with a population of under 100,000 and is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and small—to medium-sized businesses in rural areas.

Our Team


With over a decade of experience fueling business growth , Christina has developed a deep expertise in entrepreneurship and strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), a Marketing Diploma from George Brown College, and additional coursework in Business Process Management from the University of Toronto.
Beyond her professional career, Christina has been a dedicated mentor and advocate for entrepreneurs. She has volunteered her support to the next generation of business leaders through her participation with Pow Wow Pitch, Ryerson Venture Fund, Business In The Streets (BITS), Junior Achievement, and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).
In 2021, Christina took a bold leap, leaving the finance sector to follow her creative instincts. She co-founded a video production company, Kettle Point Productions, with her partner Leigh George who continues to manage the business.
In her role as Business Coach & Lending Officer with Community Futures, she is excited to connect with and support the businesses of Sarnia-Lambton, bringing her passion, experience, and entrepreneurial spirit to the local community.

As a Business Development Officer with Community Futures Lambton, Dorian supports entrepreneurs, business owners, and buyers as they navigate growth, transition, and succession. She contributes to the delivery of BizLink, a business succession and matchmaking program that connects buyers and sellers while providing access to coaching, financing pathways, and trusted professional resources. Her work is focused on strengthening small businesses and supporting long-term economic development across Lambton County.
Dorian’s background spans community development, social planning, immigration partnerships, and employment programming. She works closely with municipal, nonprofit, and private-sector partners to advance newcomer integration, inclusive economic initiatives, and community-based solutions that respond to real local needs.
Alongside her professional work, Dorian is actively engaged in nonprofit governance and serves as a Board Member of the Women’s Interval Home of Sarnia Lambton. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Florida Atlantic University and is guided by a strong belief that thoughtful leadership, inclusive communities, and resilient local businesses are essential to sustainable economic growth and community wellbeing.


This real-world perspective shapes the way she approaches her role at CFL. With a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and care, Jennifer ensures that financial processes run smoothly while keeping the client experience front and centre. Her understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face allows her to connect with clients in a meaningful way and provide thoughtful, dependable support throughout their journey.
Jennifer is deeply committed to strengthening CFL's internal systems and contributing to an environment where clients feel confident, supported, and empowered to move their businesses forward.
Our team focuses on three primary services
Funding
We offer repayable loan funding of up to $300,000 to eligible local businesses, with a greater risk tolerance than traditional lenders.
Coaching
We provide FREE business coaching and advisory services to businesses at all stages of the business lifecycle.
Development
We collaborate closely with economic development partners to promote and support initiatives that drive community economic growth.

Lambton County is home to three First Nations Communities: Aamjiwnaang, Kettle & Stoney Point, and Walpole Island. The Community Futures Program serves these communities through the Tecumseh Community Development Corporation.
